Welcome to my blog. Here I will write about the things that make me feel, make me think, and that capture my heart and attention. I have always been a lover of writing, always been able to express myself better on a page than in person.

I am an over-thinker, a worrier, and manage to stress about anything and everything. That is why I have called this blog What If Warrior. Even though I am a worrier, I am also a warrior. Those who are worriers too, know how draining it is to constantly have thoughts racing through their heads. To be weighed down by what if questions, most of which never eventuate. Regardless of these thoughts, I still keep fighting. I get up each day, try to push the what ifs away so I can focus on what I can control. I imagine there are many other worried warriors walking around, trying to look as if they don’t have a worry in the world. The words that I write in this blog will hopefully make others feel that they are not alone.

I consider this blog to be a form of therapy, a way to de-clutter my overloaded brain. If in the process I can help others who may feel the same, then that will be even better.

I have this notion, that if I can make some sort of mark on this world, if I can contribute and help people, then that would be pretty cool. That, one day, when I’m gone, my words will remain, and hopefully, I will not be forgotten.

This notion is why I became an Early Childhood teacher, why I dream of writing stories for children and adults that pull at the heartstrings and make them feel, why I devote so much of my time to making my girl feel loved and valued and special.

Life can be hard, but love makes it worthwhile. In a world filled with violence and hate, a world that is fleeting, our mortality evident, we need to make sure that we make the most of our life, and use our powers for good.

I hope my words speak to you and make you feel like we are together in this rollercoaster called life.

    Hi Suzi
I spoke to you at the river today, you were walking with your little girl, Layla and Larry. My dog helped herself to your little girls camel ? (sorry, once again)

I came home and looked for your blog, found you straight away ?
I wanted to thank you for the chat, I never get to talk to anyone about stuff like that and hearing your story reminded me that I’m not alone.
    I forget that sometimes.
I’ll keep reading and thank you for sharing your diamonds ??

      Hi Ness 🙂

So nice to hear from you! Glad you found me. I’ve been thinking about our conversation all day. We were in the right place at the right time.
Thank you for opening up and talking to me – I enjoyed our chat and it helped me too. It is easy to think that we are alone in our struggles but sometimes all it takes is for someone else to open up and we realise we don’t have to struggle through alone.
Hope you enjoy reading my blog. Feel free to reach out if you ever need to chat some more. I’ll look out for you on my walks and hope to run into you 🙂

P.S. Haha all good about the camel – it is currently drying on the line and will be good as new. Emmy wasn’t fazed at all and seemed happy to share her camel with Luna for a little bit 🙂

Hello& welcome to my blog, What If Warrior

Here you will find my multi-topic blog, told from my humble point of view. I write from the heart; for me, self-expression comes easier through written words. If you would like to read more about my inspiration for this blog, click here.
